Close cooperation with ship owners, operators and equipment manufacturers has provided us with immense knowledge and expertise in project management, system integration and onboard solutions. In addition, the Ulstein Group aims to develop innovative designs and technological solutions for merchant and short sea shipping, including product & chemical tankers, dry cargo and container vessels, ro-ro vessels and liquid & gas carriers.

SHIPBUILDING
Through decades of building the most sophisticated vessels for demanding marine operations we have managed to set the standard with regard to quality and on-time delivery.
Shipbuilding has mainly been carried out at our own yards, but cost-effective production, appropriate organisation and work methods enable us to build vessels internationally.
Recent deliveries include anchor handling tug supply vessels, platform supply vessels and offshore construction vessels.

ELECTRICAL & CONTROL SYSTEMS
The benefits of a high level of integration in electrical and control systems are critical for achieving profitable operations. Ulstein has developed a highly competent organisation providing system solutions for electronics, automation and power control.
We have the expertise to integrate individual products into larger systems, resulting in less cabling and full compatibility between different systems. Engineering, installation and commissioning also form a natural part of a delivery. ULSTEIN IAS™ and ULSTEIN COM™ are examples of successful products developed by the Ulstein Group.
